Arsenal dan Liverpool Berebut Bradley Barcola dari PSG

Dua raksasa Liga Primer Inggris, Arsenal dan Liverpool, dilaporkan sedang bersaing ketat untuk mengamankan tanda tangan pemain sayap Paris Saint-Germain, Bradley Barcola, pada Juli 2026.

Langkah transfer ini mencuat setelah pembicaraan perpanjangan kontrak pemain berusia 23 tahun tersebut di Parc des Princes menemui jalan buntu, sementara agen sang pemain mulai aktif menjajaki opsi kepindahan di luar Prancis.

PSG dilaporkan mematok harga fantastis sebesar 150 juta euro atau sekitar 128 juta poundsterling bagi klub yang berminat, meskipun sebelumnya mereka mematok harga lebih tinggi dari nilai transfer Elliot Anderson ke Manchester City sebesar £116 juta.

Kondisi Barcola di Prancis memang tidak menentu setelah menit bermainnya menurun akibat kedatangan Desire Doue dan Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, sehingga ia hanya mencatatkan 21 penampilan sebagai starter di liga domestik musim lalu.

Pakar transfer terkemuka membagikan dinamika terkini mengenai status sang pemain di pasar transfer musim panas ini.

Kedatangan para penyerang baru ke Paris ini dinilai mantan gelandang The Reds akan mempermudah jalan bagi kepindahan Barcola ke Anfield sebagai suksesor Mohamed Salah.

"I hope so because I think he’s a terrific player. I don’t think they should have been looking at Diomande for the money they were talking about anyway. He is a super talent, but that’s all he is: a talent.

He’s a prospect. Paying over the odds for a player based on potential, I’m not sure over £100m for a player who hasn’t a body of work that justifies that money was the right way to go. In a way, it might be a blessing.

Barcola would be less expensive and obviously maybe surplus to requirements with the signings PSG are making. Ia memprediksi penyerang Setan Merah akan segera berpindah klub ke sesama kontestan Liga Inggris.

"I think Marcus Rashford needs to move on, I don’t think he’s staying at Manchester United. It’ll be interesting to see where he goes. I doubt it will be another loan unless it’s a move with a view to a permanent deal.

I can’t see him staying at United. Aston Villa might take him on loan again with a view to a permanent move, I think he’d be a great asset there. After the season and the reception he had, a change seems likely.

I thought he might be heading to Barcelona, but it seems his time there has passed. I could see him thriving at Arsenal. I’m not a big fan of Gabriel Martinelli, I think Marcus is a lot better.

Kendati banyak desakan agar Barcola mencoba tantangan baru di kompetisi Inggris, mantan bek tim nasional Prancis menyarankan sang pemain bertahan di Parc des Princes.

"Barcola doesn't need to leave PSG. He's too young. He's only 23 years old. Didier Deschamps is teaching him a lesson, and he's giving him a chance." kata Marcel Desailly, Mantan Bek Chelsea.

Saat ini, manajemen Liverpool juga dilaporkan tengah memantau opsi lain seperti penyerang sayap Brighton dan Hove Albion, Yankuba Minteh, guna menambah kekuatan tim pendamping Victor Munoz.
