San Antonio Spurs Tanggapi Rumor Spekulasi Transfer DeAaron Fox

Manajemen San Antonio Spurs menegaskan sikap resmi organisasi terkait rumor perdagangan guard All-Star mereka, De'Aaron Fox, di tengah momentum babak playoff Wilayah Barat NBA 2026.

Spekulasi pasar transfer mencuat setelah jurnalis Bleacher Report, Dan Favale, memasukkan nama De'Aaron Fox sebagai target potensial bagi Toronto Raptors bersama Trey Murphy III dan LaMelo Ball untuk mendongkrak performa ofensif Toronto.

Kabar tersebut didorong oleh performa impresif guard rookie Dylan Harper dan perkembangan Stephon Castle yang diproyeksikan menjadi lini belakang masa depan Spurs, sehingga memicu asumsi bahwa kontrak besar Fox senilai 229 juta dolar AS selama empat tahun yang ditandatangani Agustus lalu akan menjadi beban finansial.

Pihak internal Spurs merefleksikan situasi ini dengan sejarah sukses dinasti mereka terdahulu saat berhasil meyakinkan bintang sekaliber Manu Ginobili untuk berperan sebagai pemain cadangan demi meraih empat gelar juara NBA.
