Dundalk FC Jamu Drogheda United di Oriel Park

Dundalk FC dijadwalkan menjamu Drogheda United dalam laga Derby Louth ketiga musim ini pada kompetisi SSE Airtricity League Premier Division di Oriel Park pada Jumat malam waktu setempat.

Pertandingan ini menjadi momen penting bagi kedua tim untuk kembali meraih kemenangan setelah sama-sama menelan kekalahan pada laga lanjutan liga sebelumnya. Dua pertemuan terdahulu antara kedua klub asal wilayah Louth tersebut berakhir dengan hasil imbang 1-1.

Kondisi tim tuan rumah saat ini masih pincang karena beberapa pilar penting harus absen akibat masalah kebugaran fisik. Penyerang Danny Mullen dipastikan tetap menepi dari lapangan hijau, sedangkan Conor Kearns, Conor O’Keefe, beserta Norman Garbett dilaporkan masih menjalani masa pemulihan cedera.

Persiapan matang terus dilakukan oleh kubu tuan rumah demi mengamankan poin penuh di kandang sendiri. Head Coach Dundalk FC, Ciarán Kilduff, memberikan perhatian besar terhadap urgensi laga derby kali ini untuk mendongkrak posisi tim.

There are a lot of positives around the place at the minute, and we just have to keep focusing on them. We need to take every advantage we can get. Having all our supporters in place gives us a bit of a competitive advantage at home.
