Christian Pulisic Fokus Piala Dunia Setelah Putus dari Alexa Melton

Kapten Tim Nasional Sepak Bola Pria Amerika Serikat (USMNT) Christian Pulisic dilaporkan tetap fokus menghadapi rangkaian pertandingan Piala Dunia 2026 setelah mengakhiri hubungan asmaranya dengan pegolf profesional Alexa Melton.

Keduanya resmi berpisah pada April 2026 setelah menjalin hubungan sejak tahun 2024, di mana perpisahan tersebut diwarnai berbagai spekulasi di media sosial sebelum akhirnya diklarifikasi oleh kedua belah pihak.

Pulisic menyatakan dirinya tetap menghargai sang mantan kekasih meskipun hubungan mereka telah berakhir beberapa bulan sebelum kompetisi akbar tersebut dimulai.

"I only look at her in the most positive way," ujar Christian Pulisic, Kapten USMNT.

Melton juga menjelaskan bahwa dirinya sedang dalam proses belajar untuk menjaga kesehatan mentalnya di tengah padatnya jadwal turnamen golf.

Ia menegaskan komitmennya untuk tidak membiarkan opini luar atau hasil pertandingan memengaruhi harga dirinya secara personal.

Melton menulis bahwa ia belajar untuk tidak "equate my worth to my golf score or how others treat me," guna menghadapi tekanan dari publik maupun dunia olahraga profesional.
