"Liverpool are in negotiations. They are on it, for sure. PSG are also speaking with the player's camp. The battle is on." kata Fabrizio Romano.

"I can tell you the preference on the player side is to do the deal fast before the start of the World Cup so Diomande can go to the World Cup without thinking. They will try to accelerate the deal before the Urban World Cup. It will depend on Leipzig. It is never easy to negotiate with them but Liverpool and PSG are both working on it." ujar Fabrizio Romano.

"Imagine people say you go to Chelsea or Real Madrid (as examples of big clubs) to do this job … you’re going to be happy and motivated to do more," kata Yan Diomande.

"I don’t think about it too much because my focus is on the pitch, my job is playing football, that takes care of everything, but it gives me a lot of motivation to see people talking about me." kata Yan Diomande kepada The Athletic.

"My future? I have a team that takes care of that. I try to stay as focused as possible. I've loved PSG since I was little. I think my father was a PSG supporter. But I'm not thinking about the future, I'm staying focused on the World Cup. We'll see what happens after that." kata Yan Diomande kepada Le Parisien.
