Hong Kong Dorong Kerja Sama Hijau dan Transaksi Properti Global

Hong Kong memperkuat kemitraan keberlanjutan dengan Uni Eropa, menerbitkan regulasi kerja pascabencana, serta mencatat transaksi properti besar bersama JD.com pada Senin (6/7/2026) demi menjaga stabilitas ekonomi dan lingkungan.

Langkah ini dipertegas dalam forum Greenway 2026 dan pertemuan tahunan Netherlands Hong Kong Business Association (NHKBA) di Amsterdam. Wilayah otonom ini menetapkan target netralitas karbon pada tahun 2050 melalui optimalisasi pendanaan serta inovasi teknologi hijau.

"With a comprehensive innovation ecosystem, we believe Hong Kong can become a place where green technologies are not only invented, but also commercialised, financed and deployed globally." kata Shirley Yung, Perwakilan Khusus Urusan Ekonomi dan Perdagangan Hong Kong untuk Uni Eropa.

Di sisi lain, mengantisipasi dampak cuaca ekstrem seperti topan dan hujan badai, Departemen Tenaga Kerja (LD) Hong Kong mengeluarkan panduan ketenagakerjaan demi keselamatan pekerja.

"For staff who have genuine difficulties in resuming work on time upon cancellation of a tropical cyclone or rainstorm warning, employers should be considerate and handle the situation in a flexible manner. For example, employers may allow employees to resume work by batches, permit employees who have difficulties in returning to workplaces to work remotely (if applicable) or allow more time for them to report for duty and resume work," ujar juru bicara Departemen Tenaga Kerja Hong Kong.

Pemerintah setempat juga mengingatkan perusahaan agar tidak memotong upah atau hak cuti karyawan akibat keterlambatan yang disebabkan oleh faktor alam luar kendali.

"Tropical cyclones and rainstorms are natural calamities. If employees are not required to report for duty, or are released from workplaces early, or are unable to report for duty at workplaces or resume work on time, etc due to adverse weather, extreme conditions or other environmental factors beyond their control, employers should not deduct their wages, good attendance bonus, or allowances, nor require employees to compensate subsequently for the loss of working hours in response to the aforementioned situations, or reduce employees' entitlements to annual leave, statutory holidays or rest days under the Employment Ordinance to compensate for the loss of working hours resulting from the issuance of adverse weather warnings or the extreme conditions announcement," kata juru bicara Departemen Tenaga Kerja Hong Kong.

Sementara itu, dinamika ekonomi ditunjukkan oleh pengembang properti Far East Consortium (FEC) yang resmi menjual proyek akomodasi mahasiswa kepada unit usaha JD.com senilai 750 juta dolar Hong Kong. Menurut data konsultan real estat Colliers, investasi di sektor pendidikan Hong Kong terus melonjak hingga mencapai 11,1 miliar dolar Hong Kong dalam lima bulan pertama tahun 2026.
